Kevin Jackson brings more than a decade of collegiate coaching, recruiting, and player development experience to NextGen NIL Hoops. Jackson has coached across NCAA Division I, JUCO, and NAIA levels and is widely regarded for his defensive coordination, guard development, and talent identification. His stops include Midwestern State, Texas Wesleyan, McNeese State, San Jacinto College, Cisco College, and Lon Morris College, where his teams produced conference championships, national rankings, postseason appearances, and high-level individual player development results.

Jackson has managed recruiting pipelines at multiple levels, helped guide Texas Wesleyan to a Sooner Athletic Conference Championship and a NAIA national tournament run, and played a key role in McNeese State’s 20-win season and WBI appearance. His two years at San Jacinto College marked one of the most significant program turnarounds in the country, producing a 20-win improvement, a national Top-10 ranking, and multiple All-Americans. Throughout his collegiate career, Jackson has recruited, mentored, and developed All-Conference players, All-Americans, and future professionals.

In addition to his coaching career, Jackson co-founded KBJ Academy, a national player development and education platform that hosted camps, clinics, and team-building retreats across the country. He and his wife Brenita co-authored the book “Play College Basketball” and produced the podcasts “Hoops with KBJ” and “Coffee with KBJ,” all designed to help athletes and families navigate the recruiting, collegiate preparation, and personal branding landscape. His background aligns directly with the NextGen NIL Hoops mission—equipping athletes with the tools, exposure, and education necessary to compete at the next level on and off the floor.
